During the COVID-19 pandemic, my book, “Lost Mill Towns of North Georgia” came out. I made this video for a library to play on their website.
Next week, I am visiting a quilting guild and discussing this book. They asked me to come because they were interested in knowing more about the early cotton industry in Georgia. I wanted to share some of what I will be speaking about. My hope is that more will be interested in this part of Georgia's history.
Thank you for reading, watching, and listening to my Substack. Some of you have supported this effort. I am not only grateful, I am humbled. It encourages me that Georgia and American history is still interesting to so many of you.
As I continue to search for lost things and write about people, places, and things before they are forgotten, I ask for your support.
As a token of my appreciation, to anyone who supports my work with a yearly subscription, I will send one of my books signed to you. Thank you.
I always enjoy your views on the history of old mills and times past, with an emphasis on Georgia.
